Ringkoebing is an old market and shipping town with a history going back to the mid-1200’s. The town has an intimate and old-world atmosphere and the town centre has many attractive old houses facing narrow cobbled streets.

HOTEL RINGKJOEBING which was built around the year 1600, is the oldest building in the town apart from the church, and for many years was the town’s biggest merchant house. The hotel was owned throughout the 1700s and until 1805 by a series of district administrators who had big granaries in the premises.

Since 1833, the building has been an inn and hotel, which means that Hotel Ringkjøbing is one of the country’s oldest hotels.

Hotel Ringkjøbing now has 45 ultramodern rooms, all carefully renovated. The owners are particularly proud of the new suite with a view over the market square. The suite is fitted out with luxury furnishings and fabrics and a spa bath in the bathroom.

Hotel Ringkjoebing is host to many parties every year and offer four function rooms with accommodation for 25 to 100 people. Also the hotel offers to arrange smaller courses and day meetings and we supply take-away food to all forms of gatherings.

Every year we arrange about 25 musical events on the market square in front of the hotel, and there is live music in the hotels English pub "The Watchman’s Pub" on about 45 Saturdays during the year.
