Many rooms have been named after personalities, who have been staying at the hotel in the past.

H.C. Andersen (illustration) stayed at Hotel Dania for several years. Her Royal Highness Queen Margrethe of Denmark, The Prince Henrik, The poet Herman Bang, The multiartist Asger Jorn and his brother Joergen Nash are among some of the personalities who have rooms named after them.
