Description of the Hotel
|
In the hilly area of southern Jutland close to the German border you will find the small and cosy Benniksgaard Hotel surrounded by idyllic countryside and with a beutiful view of Flensborg Fjord. The calm atmosphere of the place is sure to soothe all souls.
The hotel also includes the farmhouse 'Brændstoft', which today is used for camp school, family- and company activities. The interior decoration of the hotel is the work of designer Karen Jersing, who has chosen to combine the rustic look with bright and breezy elements. The atmosphere is very personal, cosy and relaxed, and together with high quality and great flexibility it makes this place very unique.
A stay at Benniksgaard Hotel offers many opportunities for experiencing the little extra something which makes the visit unique.
The area is full of sights: Gråsten Castle - summer residence to the Royal family, Christmas Fair in Flensborg or Krusmølle's farm shop with its art wares, functioning workshop and scrumptious delicacies made from their own recipes.
Maybe a walk across the golf course followed by sauna and massage could be just the cure for the stress of everyday life.
Golf Right next to Benniksgaard Hotel, you will find the Benniksgaard Golf Course. which was established on the old farming fields of Benniksgaard by Mads Friis. The 18-hole course overlooks Flensborg Fjord and offers players exciting challenges. It was landscaped by course-architect Michael T. Møller. The course has reservation times, golf carts and golf simulators. The inexperienced golfer has ample opportunity to try out the game of golf by playing the par-3 course or by taking lessons, which includes hire of equipment and instruction. Benniksgaard Hotel and the course's position close to the border as well as the motorway near by makes the place an excellent starting point for a golfing experience both north and south of the border. Benniksgaard Hotel has green fee arrangements with all golf courses in Southern Jutland as well as in Appeldöre south of the border.
